Love Me for Five Minutes
Teodora Tudose
We are new graduates of I. L. Caragiale University of Theatre and Film Arts in Bucharest, and in the past year, we have worked in our show Love Me for Five Minutes, which opened on 4 May of this year. It’s Teodora Tudose’s graduation show as a choreographer, and has been awarded for its choreography concept and interpretation (Teodora Tudose and Sergiu Diță) at the Okaua Theatre Festival, besides winning Best Show at the University’s graduation gala. For this same show, Andrei Cristea was named Best Male Performer at the gala.
Love Me for Five Minutes is about the impact made by the absence of a father figure and about the affection we all need to fill the void inside. The show emphasizes the family relationships that will later influence a person’s social dynamics. Some of the themes the performance assesses are memory, family, the unconscious, and abandon.
Love Me for Five Minutes is a call to pay more attention to gestures that make us feel loved.
